Training Camp
The Fellowship kicks off with Training Camp, a hallmark of our program and our primary opportunity for incoming Fellows to build their community and prepare for the Fellowship. During Training Camp, Fellows work together and learn a combination of both foundational startup skills and transformative adaptive skills.
During Training Camp, Fellows will:
Build their network of Fellows, Alumni, VFA team members, and startup leaders
Learn key skills that will help them create more diverse, equitable, and inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystems
Explore Detroit and learn transferable skills to help them navigate and engage with their new VFA cities
Learn foundational professional skills to help them succeed in their new role
Learn how to make the most of their Fellowship experience
PAST TRAINING CAMP RESOURCES
We often get asked for old presentations from Training Camp. Check out the TC Resource Hub for your class to access any available resources, session materials, and recordings. Please note, if a presentation is not avilable this is because the speaker did not grant us permission to share beyond their training. Please do not share VFA resources publicly, as some presentations may include proprietary information.

2018 and 2019 Fellows: Your Training Camp calendars are still active and contain all the presentation links and contact info for past speakers. We have also consolidated many of the 2019 Training Camp presentations into this folder.
